Explore the underwater world during a marine citizen science workshop

Set off on an educational and immersive marine adventure along Mallorca’s stunning northern coast. This guided snorkeling experience blends exploration with environmental insight, giving you a deeper understanding of the island’s vibrant underwater ecosystem. Hop aboard a RIB in Port Pollensa and set off towards the breathtaking Formentor Bay, now home to the new Four Seasons Hotel. Along the way, you’ll pass the iconic La Fortaleza estate, famously known as a filming location and one of the island’s most exclusive properties. Before diving in, a marine expert will introduce you to the Mediterranean ecosystem in a 30-50 minute session. Learn about local marine species, seagrass meadows, and their crucial role in ocean health. From the boat, you’ll have a chance to see one of Med Gardens, a conservation initiative by the Cleanwave Foundation.

Then, enjoy a 45-50 minute snorkeling session, exploring vibrant seagrass meadows, sandy bottoms, and rocky reefs. Your guide will point out key species, explain their importance, and help you identify bioindicator fish that signal environmental changes in the Mediterranean.
